Fly -In to Manston Airport

All Welcome but PPR from Polar Helicopters

Kent Strut is a local branch of the Light Aircraft Association which is the representative body for light aviation in the UK and is also responsible for overseeing the construction of homebuilt aeroplanes.

The Strut meets near to Maidstone, but has members from all areas of Kent plus a few members from outside the Kent area. The Strut is  active on the homebuilding and restoration front with a number of projects under way including a number of Europas, a Pietenpol, Cozy and a Zenair amongst others. The club meets every month during the winter with talks by guest speakers.

Aircraft construction and operation advice is on hand from members

The Strut organises regular Fly-Outs each year where members are invited to fly en-masse to an event or airfield,

sometimes within the UK and sometimes over the "ditch" to a Continental airfield.

A Newsletter is produced regularly and sent to all members.

A example copy is available for download here.
